Newly eligible employees have 30 days from event date to submit benefit elections.
If you experience a work or life event, you may be able to make a mid-year change to your benefits within 30 days from the date of the qualifying life event or within 60 days from the date of the qualifying life event in the case of birth, adoption, or placement for adoption.
Annual Open Enrollment takes place in the fourth quarter.

If you are declining enrollment for yourself or your dependents you may be able to enroll in medical coverage if you or your dependents lose eligibility for that other coverage. However, you must request enrollment within 30 days after your or your dependents’ other coverage ends.
If you have a new dependent as a result of marriage, birth, adoption, or placement for adoption, you may be able to enroll yourself and your dependents in medical coverage. However, you must request enrollment within 30 days after the marriage, birth, adoption, or placement for adoption

You and/or your dependents may also enroll during the plan year due to loss of eligibility for coverage under Medicaid or a state Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP), or if you become newly eligible for state premium assistance from Medicaid or CHIP towards the cost of Exact Sciences’ medical coverage. However, you must request enrollment within 60 days of the loss of eligibility for Medicaid or CHIP coverage or becoming newly eligible for state premium assistance from Medicaid or CHIP, as applicable.
