Key Benefits

Nuvance Health offers competitive benefits for you and your family. These include benefits that are fully paid for by Nuvance Health and benefits that are substantially subsidized where you and Nuvance Health share in the cost.

We offer a suite of voluntary benefits.

  • Accident Insurance: Pays benefits if you suffer a covered injury such as a fracture, burn, or concussion.

  • Critical illness: Covers adult conditions such as Crohn's disease, as well as childhood conditions like cerebral palsy and Down syndrome.

  • Hospital indemnity: The benefits are paid directly to you when you or a family member receives hospital care.

  • Whole life insurance: Includes long-term care.

  • Identity theft protection: Includes cyber security protection.

  • Pet insurance, home/auto and legal plans.

Voluntary benefits renew automatically each year unless you cancel them. If you wish to cancel a voluntary benefit, contact The Farmington Company at (877) 290-3945, M–F, 8 am–5 pm and select #3.

Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in Basic Life and AD&D insurance at no cost. The benefit pays one times your annual base pay, up to a maximum of $750,000; or flat $50,000.

We offer two medical plans by Aetna: the Nuvance Health Provider Plan and the Nuvance Health Consumer Plan. Visit aetna.com.

  • Nuvance Health Provider Plan: You do not need to meet a deductible when you use Tier 1 providers and in- and out-patient facilities and services. You only pay the copay: $25 for a PCP visit, $35 for a specialist visit.

  • Nuvance Health Consumer Plan: When you seek care from Tier 1 providers or utilize a hospital service at a Nuvance Health facility, you first pay your deductible —then your care is covered 100%.
