Paid Time Off Benefits
Paid Time-Off (PTO) – Accrues at 20 days per year for 0 to 3 years of service (max accrual 240 hours); 25 days per year for 4 to7 years of service (max accrual of 280 hours); 30 days per year for 7+ years of service (max accrual of 320 hours).
Holidays – 12 paid Company observed holidays per year. Available to Interns as well.
Parental Leave – 6 weeks paid at 100% salary, no waiting period. Must be used within (1 year) 365 days of either birth or adoption of dependent child.
Paid Family Medical Care Leave – eligible employees can take 6 weeks, 100% paid by SRA (off-set by state benefits where applicable) for taking care of an ill family member.
Health Insurance Benefits

Medical (Interns Eligible) - for employee/intern and dependents begin from the date of hire. SRA offers the choice of the following plans (All SRA medical plans provide infertility coverage. Please refer to plan document for more information.):
Supplemental Medical Coverage – paid for by SRA for Cigna HSA plan participants. Buy-Up coverage is available.
Dental (Interns Eligible) - SRA offers a Dental PPO plan and a Dental PPO Buy-Up plan through Cigna.
Vision (Interns Eligible) - Vision coverage for employee and dependents beginning from date of hire. SRA offers a Vision PPO plan through VSP.
Basic Life Insurance – This plan provides coverage equal to two times the employee’s annual base salary up to the maximum of $500,000. Spouse coverage of $10,000 and children coverage of $5,000. Coverage for employee/spouse/children is company paid.
Supplemental Life Insurance – Employee has the option of adding supplemental life insurance for him or herself, spouse and children through payroll deductions.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) – This company paid plan provides the same coverage as the Basic Life (two times base salary). Dismemberment benefits are based upon the severity of the injury (determined by Reliance Matrix). Spouse and children are not included in this plan.
Permanent Life Insurance with Long Term Care Benefits – This coverage is designed to protect an employee's loved ones and can also help cover the high costs of long term care services.
Business Travel Accident Coverage – Provides employees with death or dismemberment coverage while traveling.
Short-Term Disability – Short-term disability (STD) provides up to 26 weeks at 100% of current salary. STD premium is paid by company.
Long-Term Disability – Following 180 days of short-term disability you may be eligible for long-term disability (LTD) coverage. 60% of monthly base up to $15,000. Prudential determines eligibility. LTD premium is paid by company.

Income Enhancement Program
401(k) Retirement/Savings Plan – Employees are eligible upon date of hire and and are auto-enrolled at 5% deferral rate for base salary. The company matches 100% of 5%. Company matched funds are vested on a 4 year schedule at 25% per year of employment. The maximum employee contribution for 2024 (per IRS) is $23,000 with catch-up contribution (for age 50 and above) up to $7,500.
Health Savings Account (HSA) – Employees who are enrolled in our Cigna HSA plan are eligible to enroll in a Fidelity Health Savings Account (HSA). The account can be used to pay for qualified health care expenses on a tax-free basis, and includes a financial contribution from SRA.

Flexible Benefits Plan
Health Care Spending Account – Employees who enroll in this plan can deposit up to $3,200 of their annual pre-tax pay in a special account established for health care reimbursement. Money in the account can be withdrawn for qualified health care services not covered by medical benefits plan.
Dependent Care Spending Account – Employees who need to provide day-care for children or a dependent adult in order to work can enroll in this plan and deposit up to $5,000 of their annual pre-tax pay. Monies are deposited in a special account to reimburse themselves for qualified expenses such as daycare for children under age 13.
Commuter Benefits – These benefits can be carried over from year to year as long as employee remains enrolled in either plan.
- Transit – The maximum deduction is $315 per month during the plan year
- Parking – The maximum deduction is $315 per month during the plan year.
