Where to Go for Care

Where to Go for Care

Knowing where to go for care can save you time and money. Going to the ER or calling 911 is always your best option for life-threatening emergencies. However, for non-life-threatening needs, consider virtual care, a visit to your PCP, a retail health clinic or an urgent care center. For more information check out the Anthem Flyer on PDSConnect.

Anthem LiveHealth Online

With LiveHealth Online, you’ll be able to talk to a doctor right away, any time of the day or night, from the comfort of your home or office. This service should be used for things like colds, flu, headaches, sinus infections, fever, etc. All you need is a smart phone with web service or a computer/tablet with an internet connection.

How it Works

Members must first register at livehealthonline.com.

  • HDHP with HSA plan members pay $55 – $80 per visit for urgent care and primary care (which counts toward the plan year deductible and out-of-pocket maximums). Once the deductible is met, members pay 20% of the visit cost.
  • PPO & EPO plan members have a $0 copay per visit.
