You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in benefits. PDS Health offers medical, dental and vision insurances, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), life and disability insurances, as well as various voluntary insurances you can enroll in. When you are ready to enroll, visit the People Services Center and follow the steps in this Quick Reference Guide (QRG).
You must take action within the 30-day window, even if you want to waive coverage. If the window expires, you will be enrolled in the following default coverage:
Outside of open enrollment, you may only make changes to your benefit elections if you experience a qualifying life event, such as marriage, the birth of a child, or losing health coverage.
The PDS Health 401(k) plan allows you to save a certain percent of your pay on a pre-tax and post-tax basis to invest toward your retirement.
